Transmission by QPSK modulation

For the purpose of researching analog transmission for communicating systems with extreme exposure to noise, ClearSy has invested in developing its own transmssion technology by QPSK frequency type modulation.

QPSK frequency modulation allows a line to carry a small amount of noise on the signal, but requires complex algorithms and powerful calculating power to execute them.

ClearSy chose a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) at a frequency of 200 MHz for the implementation of this QPSK algorithm.

Thanks to the satisfying results of the performance studies conducted with this DSP, ClearSy was able to use this technology in the development of the ModemB product installed in Line 13 of the Paris Metro.
