Configuration data is a key factor for systems communication, train movements supervision, speed limits definition, and preventing conflicts. Any inconsistency or hidden error in these datasets can potentially impact operational safety.<\/p>\n<p>By combining SIEMENS&#8217; (Chatillon-Paris and New York)\u00a0expertise in New York City&#8217;s rail systems with CLEARSY&#8217;s advanced know-how in formal methods, automatization of the verification has been a success.<\/p>\n<p>Benefits of automating data verification through formal methods are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Automated large-scale data verification<\/li>\n<li>Strengthened confidence in system interoperability<\/li>\n<li>Improved traceability and compliance with safety standards<\/li>\n<li>Reduced validation time (median time of 20 seconds for 355 rules)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This project illustrates how formal verification technologies can move beyond theory and deliver tangible safety benefits in one of the world\u2019s most demanding metro networks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) has adopted the CLEARSY Data Solver !
