The KVB aims to record the speed of a train and communicate this to a system installed onboard, which interprets it and can act in the event of overspeed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><strong>CLIENT :<\/strong> Alstom<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>DATE :<\/strong> June 2009\/February 2010<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"lanceur\">The KVB has been developed with the help of the formal B method, and works with the help of 2 devices:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>A \u201cground beacon\u201d positioned on the track, which memorises the speed of a train<\/li>\r\n<li>An \u201conboard system\u201d, (installed onboard the train), which receives the information communicated by the ground beacon.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>These two elements contribute to controlling the speed of a train, and act on it according to the parametering of the onboard system\u2026 As such, in the event of overspeed, the system activates an emergency brake\u2026<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Our actions<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Alstom has been using this system for their trains for over 20 years and called upon the services of CLEARSY this year to assist in making developments to the KVB system.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p class=\"lanceur\">CLEARSY plays a role in the following activities:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li>Updates of the B Models<\/li>\r\n<li>Proofing of the B models<\/li>\r\n<li>Implementing of the tests on the host machine<\/li>\r\n<li>Analysis of the code cover<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KVB is a system being developped by Alstom since 1990, which CLEARSY has contributed to.
