 The University of Nantes is organizing the 3rd edition of the conference dedicated to B method. It will be held June 7, 2010, at the Cité Internationale des Congrès and will gather many actors of the B Community.
ClearSy will participate and make a presentation of its B dissemination and exploitation activities over the past ten years through its Atelier B tool, used to develop proven systems and softwares. |

 Clearsy is pleased to announce its participation to the Workshop on B Dissemination [WOBD], a satellite event of SBMF 2010 which will be held at Natal, Brazil, on 8-9 November 2010.
This B / Event-B workshop is organized within the framework of the DEPLOY project. Its objectives are to present current status and ongoing research and development related to B and event B languages, as well as applications to industry size problems. Topics addressed by the workshop are many:
- Tool development (language extensions, external provers, code generation, etc.)
- Modelling challenges (real time properties, probabilistic refinement, design patterns, high order logic, etc.)
- Deployment (methodology, cases-studies, return of experience, scaling up, etc.)

 Since January 10 2010, the new Sacomã station (Line 2 - green) in Brazil is open to the public since its inauguration by Governor Jose Serra in Sao Paulo.
The station is equipped with platform screen doors and SIL3 COPPILOT system which controls the opening and closing of platform screen doors.
This station is operational 3 months after signing a contract for equipping in 2010 fifteen stations of lines 2 and 3 of Sao Paulo Metro. |

Clearsy has signed a contract for the development, delivery and installation of the SIL3 COPPILOT security system, responsible for controlling the opening and closing of the platform screen doors, which will be installed on lines 2 and 3 of the Sao Paulo Metro.
The COPPILOT system had already been successfully implemented for a 10 month period back in 2006, during the trialling of three platform screen doors in the Saint Lazare and Invalides metro stations in Paris.
This contract with Brazil relates to around fifteen stations and it was only possible due a strong partnership between AeS (a Brazilian company that is in the railway market since 1998).
It confirms Clearsy’s and AeS's unique expertise in detection security systems. Indeed, COPPILOT doesn’t need to be installed on the train itself, nor does it require any modification to the signalling system. As such its installation is fast and efficient, and involves existing platforms and line stations, automatic or otherwise. |

 ClearSy was present at the Lambda Mu 16 conference, that took place from the 7th to the 9th of October at Avignon. This event, that gathered more than 400 people, presented the different aspects of risk control and operational safety.

ClearSy will be participating in the UITP fair that will take place in Viennes from the 7th to the 11th of June 2009.
This fair and worldwide conference in public transports is more specifically dedicated to urban transport modes (tramway, subway), and gathers the principal leaders of the railway market together around the problem of transport and its logistic.

Version 4 of Atelier B will be free for everyone when it is launched at the end of 2008. The version currently being prepared and tested internally will be made available to a few volunteer users between July and September. Then the Beta test will start and cover two months, ending at the end of 2008.
Until then, the schools and universities who wish to have Atelier B can now request a loan of Atelier B 3.7.

 This year, AeS and ClearSy are organizing a day dedicated to the B Method, which will take place in Brazil in August. This seminar will be presented on two occasions during the following two conferences:
- August 26, 2008: SBMF 2008 Conference in Salvador
- August 28, 2008: Conference at the IPT (institute for technological research in the State of Sao Paulo)
The objective of this event is to present and promote the B Method through different presentations of projects and tools that use B.

Version 3.7.1 of Atelier B is now available. It has corrected the minor anomalies of Atelier B on the proof type and interface verifier and compatibility with the xemacs EMACSPRI proof interface has been improved.

The future version 3.7.2 is currently under development and is announced for early May 2008... A new translator ComenC will be added to Atelier B. ComenC allows for B0 implementations to be translated into C language. |
