One of the extensions of the Operational Simulator is the connection to a 3D track visualisation application.
Visualisation and 3D tools suite
ERSA has developed an interface by which external 3D visualisation applications can be connected. This has been used for several customers, with the purpose of saving costs, when the 3D data were already available.
3D visualisation application
In the mean time, ERSA has developed its own 3D visualisation application. This application can be used by the Operational Simulator, but it can also be connected by the Traffic Simulator, and connected to any train involved in the simulation.
3D Track Editor and a Decorator
This enables to create configuration with multi 3D applications, for parallel training.
The 3D tool suite includes also data preparation tools, such as a 3D Track Editor and a Decorator.
The 3D Track Editor can use an automatic track generation based on the map of the track.
