As part of its efforts to modernise and digitise on-board systems, TALGO develops TCMS (Train Control and Management System) solutions incorporating display screens (DMI – Driver Machine Interface) that enable the driver to interact intuitively with the train’s critical functions.
CLEARSY addresses critical operational safety issues, with the aim of ensuring that on-board HMIs meet the requirements of Safety Integrity Level 2 (SIL2).
CLEARSY made evolutions of its certified DMI to comply with the customer requirements. CLEARSY is involved throughout the entire development cycle:
- Allocation of software and system safety requirements
- Compliance with the reference standard (EN 50128)
- Implementation of a secure software architecture
- Independent verification and validation of safety mechanisms
- Implementation of full traceability from requirements through to testing.
This dedicated new version of the SIL2 display is now certified SIL2 by Certifer.
