As part of the project to automate line 13 of the Paris Metro, RATP has once again commissioned CLEARSY to equip 19 new stations with its platform door control system.
This system has already been in service since 2010 at the 13 stations currently equipped with platform screen doors. The on-board hardware (sensor and computer) and track-side hardware (antenna and computer) will be modernised, manufactured and deployed in the new stations at the same time as the platform screen doors. The system will ensure compatibility with current trains (MF77) and new trains (MF19) gradually being deployed on the line from 2030 onwards.
The CLEARSY platform screen door control system is SIL3-qualified for operational safety.
