New CLEARSY x ARTERAIL Project for RATP metro

15 July 2025

CLEARSY is launching a new project in collaboration with ARTERAIL, on behalf of the end user RATP. This project is part of a refurbishment operation for the MF67 & MP89 rolling stock. CLEARSY will create a communication gateway facilitating the integration of the new badge readers on the track with the old Onboard computer.

Objective: Ensure compatibility between newly installed equipment and legacy onboard systems

New TagMaster tag readers will be installed on the train. These readers communicate with the trackside TagMaster location tags. CLEARSY is responsible for designing a dedicated communication gateway that enables the train’s onboard computer responsible of passenger announcement to interface with the newly installed tag readers in charge of train localization. This gateway ensures seamless and secure integration of modern equipment into the train’s existing system.

Modernization, compatibility, and service continuity

This project supports the modernization of the fleet while maintaining service continuity and ensuring interoperability between legacy and new technologies on Paris metro lines 3 and 6.
