CLEARSY secures new contract with Hyundai Rotem for the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP)
CLEARSY has signed a contract with Hyundai Rotem to supply its SIL3-certified DOF platform screen door control system for QTMP’s new 65 six-car passenger trains to be installed at the QTMP purpose-built manufacturing facility at Torbanlea, in the Fraser Coast region.
A proven solution for enhanced railway safety, the CLEARSY DOF system ensures the safe, reliable, and fully synchronised operation of platform screen doors with train movements, minimising risk and improving the overall passenger experience.
The system also delivers strong accessibility outcomes by enabling more consistent alignment between train doors and platforms—supporting safer and easier boarding for people using mobility devices, parents with prams, seniors, and passengers with vision impairment.
