CLEARSY carried out the safety development with a SIL2 requirement level for the temporary signalling server for Compagnie des signaux (CSEE).
The server interfaces between the operator station and the ground computer that authorizes train movements (RCB, Radio Block Center), and enables the safe setting and removal of restrictions such as ‘Temporary Speed Restrictions’ or track-related features (‘Track Conditions’).
These restrictions are designed to protect workers and trains travelling in work zones.
The temporary signalling server is an integral part of the ERMTS Level 2 signalling system for the ARGOS RBC project.
As usual, CLEARSY led this development until SIL2 certification is obtained. After a year of development, CLEARSY is proud to announce that it has obtained SIL2 certification!
