CLEARSY is developing a real-time hardware-based platform for digitising, dating and filtering high-speed analog data.

This platform performs the following operations:

  • Acquisition of analog signals
  • Transfer of digitised analog data to a CUDA-compatible graphics card
  • Real-time decoding of analog data via a dedicated algorithm running on the grafical processing unit (GPU)
  • Retrieval of decoded protocol data in a conventional file system

This solution allows the benefits of massive parallelisation by the GPU’s 3,000 cores to be exploited.

This platform can therefore process a data flow of 4 GB/s without going through the central processing unit (CPU) for long periods of time, thereby avoiding saturation of the hard drives in conventional systems.

Finally, it includes a web server for remotely launching acquisitions and retrieving decoded and filtered protocol files.
