This webinar introduces the principles of rigorous validation of safety-critical software parameterization data, and shows how this costly, manual activity can be replaced by safe, automatic, and standards-compliant techniques for safety-critical systems.
These techniques are equally valid for any sector where critical software depends on equally critical data.
Two examples are presented:
- a non-trivial case of a railway rule applicable to CBTC train control systems, based on data in Excel format, and
- a case study of an ERTMS railroad line, based on track plan data in Xml format, digitized using a tool developed specifically for this purpose.
The webinar consists of a 30-minute presentation and demonstrations, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session. It is aimed at railway operators, signalling system suppliers and certification bodies.
It does not require any particular skills to follow.
